Man dies in house fire in Pieksämäki

A man has died in a house fire in Pieksämäki, according to a statement from the South Savo rescue services.
The two-storey detached house on Rummukantie is fully engulfed in flames, and firefighting efforts are underway. Authorities report the building will be completely destroyed.
No information on additional injuries has been released. Emergency services received the call at 17:08 on Sunday.
Multiple rescue units were dispatched to the scene.
