Man filmed women secretly in festival toilet

A 29-year-old man was caught filming women without their knowledge in a toilet at Nibe Festival on Saturday evening, Danish broadcaster DR reports.

The man had placed his phone over the door to record the women. Festival attendees discovered his actions and trapped him inside the toilet until police arrived at 20:22.

North Jutland Police confirmed the man was arrested and admitted to the offences. He is charged with violation of privacy and unauthorized recording of images. Two women were confirmed as victims in the case.

Police seized the phone containing the illegal recordings and will now examine its contents to ensure no images or videos were uploaded to cloud services, according to duty officer Christian Tilsted.
