Mediation in overtime for Norwegian aviation technicians

Mediation between NHO Luftfart and the Norwegian Aviation Technicians’ Organisation (NFO) has passed its midnight deadline without agreement, Dagbladet reports.
If no resolution is reached, eight aviation technicians could be called out on strike as early as today, potentially disrupting air traffic. The NFO represents around 500 technicians in Norway, whose certifications are required to clear aircraft for flight. Without their approval, flights cannot take off, risking cancellations or delays on a busy travel day.
While the NFO has issued termination notices for 409 members, the initial strike action would involve only eight technicians across various airlines.
