Two women report rapes at Roskilde Festival

Two women have reported being raped at Roskilde Festival within the past 24 hours, according to a daily report from Midt- og Vestsjællands Police.

A 19-year-old woman reported a rape in a tent late Friday evening. A 17-year-old male was arrested in connection with the case and is currently being questioned by police.

Later the same night, a 22-year-old woman reported being raped in a toilet near the Orange Stage. The alleged perpetrator is a man she had met at a stall shortly before the incident. Police are working to identify him.

These are not the first rape reports at this year’s festival. On Monday, a 17-year-old girl reported being raped in a tent. Two men, aged 24 and 25, were charged earlier this week in that case. The victim stated she was raped by a man around 25 years old, with another man present in the tent.
