Unidentified woman buried in Denmark after global search fails

An unidentified woman found dead on a field in Thy last January was buried at Vestre Cemetery in Thisted on Friday, Danish broadcaster DR reports.
Police had sought to identify her in 196 countries since her body was discovered on 22 January 2025, but no one has claimed her. Only church staff attended the burial.
