Alternative summer camps are growing in popularity among children and youth in Denmark, according to a report by Danish broadcaster DR.
At the open-air museum Den Gamle By in Aarhus, children in grades 3 to 6 can experience school and play as children did in the 19th century. Meanwhile, at Dokk1, a public library and cultural center, children can immerse themselves in the magical world of books, far removed from traditional football-focused summer camps.
