Multiple incidents have disrupted ferry services in the Faroe Islands, operator Strandferðslan reported on Thursday.
The ferry Ternan, which serves the Klaksvík route, collided with the Syðradalur pier last year, forcing the Teistin—normally assigned to the Nólsoy route—to cover the service. Strandferðslan stated that Ternan sustained minor damage and will resume the Klaksvík route before Monday.
Meanwhile, the Mykines route remains suspended after the vessel Jósup ran aground. Strandferðslan said a solution is being sought to transport the 10 stranded passengers off the island.
Adding to the disruptions, Smyril Line experienced technical issues on Thursday morning.
