Car found in water in Salla, 50-year-old woman missing

Police in Lapland are searching for a 50-year-old German woman after a car was found in the water near Saija village in Salla on Monday, Yle reports.

The vehicle was unoccupied when discovered. Authorities describe the missing driver as having dark brown, shoulder-length hair.
