Faroese investment firm Framtak posted a net profit of 10.1 million krona from ordinary operations in 2025, the company announced Wednesday, according to a report by Faroese public broadcaster KVF.

The return on equity was 9.6 percent, just below the firm’s 10 percent target. By year’s end, Framtak held equity stakes or had issued loans to 20 Faroese startups.

In 2025, Framtak made new investments in two companies and increased its capital in another. It also sold its stake in FarPay, which delivered an average annual return of just over 20 percent during the nine years Framtak was involved.

Total assets under management reached 148.8 million krona at the end of 2025. Demand for equity and loans from Framtak among Faroese startups appears to be growing, the company stated.

Management expects increased activity in 2026 and anticipates another strong year, barring unexpected economic disruptions.
