Chartered flights resume from Karup Airport after decade-long hiatus

Charter flights have returned to Midtjylland Karup Airport for the first time in nearly a decade, with the first departure taking off today, reports DR.

The initial route will serve Mallorca, with weekly flights operated by Bravo Tours. Director Peder Hornshøj called the Spanish island “the king of all destinations,” noting its enduring popularity among Danish travelers.

Demand has already outpaced expectations, with limited seats remaining for the summer season. The service will run through the summer, after which its continuation will be evaluated.
