The research vessel Ocean Energy is docked in Tórshavn, testing carbon-neutral technologies for the maritime sector as part of a global expedition, Faroese broadcaster KVF reports.

Originally built in the 1980s as a racing catamaran, the vessel has since been refitted for research. On board, engineer Vincent Reynaud is demonstrating systems designed to enable carbon-neutral sailing.

The project is part of a larger initiative focused on achieving carbon neutrality in maritime operations.
