Body found on remote Lofoten island remains unidentified

Police are seeking public help after a man was found dead on the uninhabited island of Mosken in Lofoten on 12 June, Dagbladet reports.
The body, discovered by volunteers from the coastal cleanup organisation In the Same Boat, is that of a man approximately two metres tall, estimated to be between 40 and 60 years old. Authorities believe he died one to four weeks before being found.
The man was wearing size 48 Tommy Hilfiger shoes, a white gold ring with blue and white stones, blue Mustang jeans (size 38/36), a black XXXL Mustang hooded jacket with a zipper, and a Casio G-Shock digital watch with a black strap.
Despite extensive investigations, police have not identified the man or determined how he ended up on the island. International police cooperation has been initiated to assist in the case.
