Three arrested in suspected Mynämäki homicide
A district court in Southwest Finland has remanded three people in custody on suspicion of homicide following the death of a 28-year-old woman in Mynämäki, Yle reports.
The suspects—a 30-year-old man, a 32-year-old woman, and a 64-year-old man—are accused of involvement in the killing, which allegedly occurred between 18 and 20 June. The 64-year-old man’s case will be reviewed within a week, according to the court.
The woman’s body was found near her last known location last week after police conducted searches using dogs and drones. Authorities are treating the death as a homicide.
Yle reports the victim and the 64-year-old suspect are relatives. The 30-year-old man has a prior criminal record.
