Helsinki Pride march expects over 100,000 participants

Organizers estimate that Saturday’s Helsinki Pride march will draw at least 100,000 people, according to a police statement.

The parade begins at Senate Square at noon and ends at Kaivopuisto park, where a festival will follow.

A counter-demonstration, labeled Anti-Pride, is also planned outside Parliament House this morning.
