Faroese Parliament begins debate on Prime Minister’s report regarding Ólavsøka festival

Today marks the commencement of the main debate in the Faroese Parliament (Løgting) regarding the Prime Minister’s report on the Ólavsøka festival.

If the debate does not conclude today, it will continue tomorrow.

The session is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM and will start with commemorative remarks honoring Jógvan Sundstein.

Additionally, the Parliament will elect two members and two alternates to the Nordic Council during today’s session.
