Homicide probe opened after elderly woman found dead in Kokkola

Police in Kokkola are investigating the death of an approximately 80-year-old woman as a homicide, Yle reports.

The woman was found dead in her home on Sunday. Authorities detained one person in connection with the case but later released them, stating there was no probable cause to suspect them of a crime.
