The Faroese High Court has upheld sentences in a drug trafficking case involving 500 grams of cocaine and four kilograms of hashish, state broadcaster KVF reports.

A woman and a man were each sentenced to three and four years in prison, respectively, in October 2025 for smuggling the drugs into the Faroe Islands. The woman arrived by ferry on July 27, 2025, with the drugs in her vehicle. The man arrived by plane on July 31 the same year.

A third man, convicted in December 2025 for receiving the drugs, was also sentenced to four years in prison. All three partially admitted guilt. The High Court confirmed all sentences.
