Elderly in Tórshavn to receive more evening activities after summer

The elderly council in Tórshavn municipality has proposed expanding services for home-dwelling seniors, including new evening activities, according to Kristianna Winther Poulsen, chair of the health and elderly committee.

The council, which includes residents, relatives, and staff from elderly care facilities, has submitted 29 recommendations. Poulsen expressed satisfaction with the proposals and stated that more could be implemented in the 2027 budget.
