Faroese council calls for new elderly housing and expanded day services

The Elderly Council in Tórshavn has concluded that alternative elderly housing must be built and day and respite care services expanded and made more flexible, following its investigation into elderly care.

The council reached its decision after consulting with users, relatives, and staff, according to a report from Faroese public broadcaster KVF.
