Practice grenade fuse detonates at Kainuu Brigade depot
Finland A fuse on a practice hand grenade detonated at the Kainuu Brigade depot in Kajaani on Thursday morning, exposing 23 conscripts to the blast noise.
The incident occurred around 9 a.m. during an equipment inspection in a storage facility, according to a statement from the Finnish Defence Forces. No other physical injuries were reported.
The affected conscripts were taken for further medical evaluation.
