A Finnish activist group calling itself Tarratoimikunta plans to distribute more than 30,000 stickers at the Suviseurat event in Kauhava this weekend, according to Yle.
The stickers criticise conservative Laestadian teachings, which consider contraception and homosexuality sinful. The group, composed of current and former members of the movement, will rely on hundreds of volunteers to hand out the labels.
Tarratoimikunta announced it will cease operations after this yearโs festival. Last summer, members reported being harassed during the Suviseurat gathering in Loppi, and their experiences were featured in a Yle Areena documentary this spring.
