Midflokkurin elects new party leadership

The Faroese Centre Party, Miðflokkurin, has elected a new party leadership, the party announced on Tuesday.

Rani A. Skaalum will serve as chair, with Finngerð Djurhuus Olsen as deputy chair. Mattias Ljósheim will lead the party’s youth wing, Konservativ ung, while Tummas Pauli Mýri will handle finances. Markus Mortensen and Steffan Klein Poulsen complete the leadership team. Sámal Hanni Lognberg and Margretha Kjærbæk are alternates, and Ólavur í Geil will serve as secretary.

The party leadership is responsible for organising the party’s work, advancing political initiatives, and ensuring its active participation in public debate.
