Two men to be remanded over fatal shooting in Varkaus

Police in eastern Finland will seek the remanding of two men suspected of manslaughter following a fatal shooting in Varkaus on Midsummer Eve, Yle reports.

The victim, a man under 30, died at the scene from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred in a detached house and posed no danger to the public, according to authorities.

Both suspects were arrested at the scene on Friday.
