More than 140 children have completed MRI scans at Aarhus University Hospital without anaesthesia, thanks to a collaboration between radiographers and hospital clowns, DR reports.

The initiative, running since September 2024, has involved over 150 children. The presence of clowns helps ease the fear of the procedure, allowing most participants to stay awake during the scan.
