Helicopter dispatched twice for injured foreign tourists

Rescue helicopter Tyrlan was dispatched twice in Vágur on Thursday after foreign tourists sustained injuries, reports Faroese broadcaster KVF.

A woman was injured at Trælanípan and airlifted to Landssjúkrahúsið hospital. Later, a man was injured near Gásadal and flown to a nearby road, where an ambulance took him to the same hospital.

On Monday, the helicopter had also been called out for a foreign woman injured near Tjørnuvík, who was flown to Landssjúkrahúsið.
