Man stabbed to death in Karijoki home

Police in South Ostrobothnia are investigating a fatal stabbing in Karijoki after a man was killed in a private residence early Thursday morning, Yle reports.

Emergency services received a call at around 3 a.m. and found the victim at the scene. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was declared dead at the location.

A woman suspected of the crime was arrested at the scene. Neither the suspect nor the victim are local residents.

The South Ostrobothnia District Court remanded the woman in custody on suspicion of murder later the same day.
