Ferry schedule adjusted for Faroese rowing festival

Strandferðslan has revised Smyril’s ferry timetable for Thursday to accommodate the annual jóansøka rowing festival in Vágur, the Faroese public broadcaster KVF reports.
The changes are due to increased transport needs for rowing teams, their boats, and other attendees traveling to and from the event.
Under the adjusted schedule, Smyril will depart Tórshavn at 08:45 on Thursday morning, arriving in Vágur later that day. The return sailing from Vágur to Tórshavn is set for 21:15 Thursday evening, following the conclusion of the festival.
Additionally, Teistin will operate an extra trip from Krambatangi at 06:00 on Monday morning. Further details are available on Strandferðslan’s website.
