Midsummer to bring warm, sunny weather across Finland

The Finnish Meteorological Institute reports clear skies across the country from Thursday to Saturday, with temperatures widely reaching the low 20s. Northern Lapland will see highs closer to 15°C.

Conditions will warm further over the weekend, with Saturday and Sunday bringing highs of up to 25°C in places. Variable cloud cover is expected, though days will generally be partly cloudy.

Recent rainfall has reduced the risk of wildfire warnings in the coming days, but strong UV radiation is forecast for southern and some western regions later in the week.
