Police received multiple noise complaints about graduation buses overnight in several Norwegian towns, Dagbladet reports.

In Bergen, operations leader Knut Dahl-Michelsen of Vest police district said calls described loud music with heavy bass preventing sleep, children waking, clinking glass, building alarms, and buses sounding as if they were entering homes.

Police dispersed the largest gathering at Kokstad in Bergen at 03:00, ending a party with loud music, noise, and fireworks. Officers also removed 22 buses from Nykirke in Horten, Langåker in Sandefjord, and Verdens Ende in Færder after repeated complaints.

In Horten, a drunk graduation student in his teens was caught using a stolen construction machine. He drove it a short distance on a public road and onto a beach, blowing well over the legal alcohol limit. His driver’s license was confiscated.

In Oslo, police responded to Hvervenbukta before 06:00 due to noise complaints. Music was stopped and buses were removed half an hour later.
