Power outage disrupts operations at Jumbo shopping centre

A widespread power outage disrupted parts of the Jumbo shopping centre in Vantaa on Monday afternoon, Yle reports.

The outage affected several restaurants near Stockmann, as well as some stores, which were left without lighting. The shopping centre’s entertainment district also experienced disruptions.

The power failure began shortly after 13:00. The cause remains unknown and is under investigation.

At the BowlCircus bowling alley, lanes and lights briefly stopped working but were restored by around 14:00.
