US shoots down Iranian drones over Strait of Hormuz

US forces shot down several Iranian attack drones heading toward the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, according to the US military command Centcom.

In a post on X, Centcom stated the drones were part of an Iranian attempt to disrupt commercial shipping in the strait.
