Facebook, Messenger and Instagram are experiencing technical issues, with users reporting they cannot access the services via apps or web browsers, according to monitoring site Downdetector.
The problems began just before 16:00 on Friday afternoon. Meta, which owns all three platforms, has not yet commented.
