A Greek man has been charged with attempting to sell 42.9 kilograms of cocaine in Iceland after the drugs were found hidden under a false floor in his car aboard the Norrøna ferry.

The discovery was made in late March as the vessel traveled from the Faroe Islands to Seyðisfjörður in eastern Iceland, Faroese broadcaster KVF reports. The man was detained upon arrival in Iceland.
