Fresh Servant to acquire Norwegian-owned Bama Fresh Cuts in largest deal in company history

Finnish food company Fresh Servant is set to acquire Bama Fresh Cuts, a Norwegian-owned producer of prepared salads and ready meals, the company announced in a press release.
Based in Vantaa, Bama Fresh Cuts reported a turnover of over €24 million last year and employs 80 people. The acquisition, pending competition authority approval, would mark Fresh Servant’s largest corporate purchase to date.
Fresh Servant, which currently employs over 600 people, said the deal aims to strengthen its position in the foodservice market and wholesale trade. The company operates in Pedersöre, Seinäjoki, and Lapua, with a subsidiary in Tumba, Sweden, and reported a turnover of €110 million last year.
CEO Sami Haapasalmi called the acquisition a strategic growth leap for the company.
