Caravan destroyed by fire at Longumýri in Skagafjörður, Iceland

A caravan was completely destroyed by fire at Longumýri in Skagafjörður today. The Skagafjörður Fire Department received reports of the fire at 10:59 AM, prompting the immediate dispatch of all available units from Sauðárkrókur. Upon arrival, firefighters found the caravan fully engulfed in flames. Fortunately, no one was inside the caravan at the time of the fire, and there were no nearby structures at risk.
Svavar Atli Birigsson, the fire chief of the Skagafjörður Fire Department, stated that the cause of the fire is currently unknown, and investigations are underway by the police.
