Tvøroyri municipality ends 2025 with a surplus of 410,000 kr

Tvøroyri municipality has reported a strong financial performance for 2025, according to the municipality itself.
The municipal council in Tvøroyri unanimously approved the annual accounts for 2025, which showed a surplus of 410,000 kr. This is significantly lower than what was budgeted for 2025.
At the end of 2025, the municipality’s revenues were 28.3 million kr, and expenditures were 19.3 million kr. The expenditure was 9.1 million kr less than the previous year.
In connection with the budget for 2025, the municipality borrowed 14.5 million kr, and 3.4 million kr were repaid from existing loans.
Long-term debt was 57.1 million kr at year-end. Net debt corresponded to 33 percent of the municipality’s revenue.
