Fuel and electricity prices rise in early 2026

Fuel and electricity prices increased in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period last year, according to Statistics Finland.

Household electricity prices rose by 14–25% in February 2026 year-on-year.

In March, consumer petrol prices climbed 8% and diesel 16% compared to March 2025.
