The Finnish Tax Administration has filed a bankruptcy petition against Go Parking Oy, a company offering off-site parking services near Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, over unpaid debts totalling €209,452.

The debt consists primarily of unpaid VAT for the years 2021–2024, along with outstanding withholding taxes. The petition, submitted to the Itä-Uusimaa District Court, states the company is insolvent after failing to pay the demanded amounts within a week of a payment notice issued on 10 March 2026.

Go Parking previously operated a gravel parking lot near the airport but now uses paved parking areas, including a nearby parking hall and public disc parking zones. The service, marketed as a cheaper alternative to official airport parking, has faced past customer complaints over overcrowding and vehicle damage.

This is the second bankruptcy attempt against the company. Pension insurance firm Varma filed a petition in autumn 2025 but later withdrew it. Go Parking Oy, founded in 2015, has not submitted annual accounts to the trade register since 2019, when it reported a turnover of €680,000 and nine employees.

The company states it no longer operates airport parking services, with another firm now running the GoParking brand. Acting CEO Katja Kapanen said negotiations with the tax authority are underway to address the debt. The company remains active in the trade register and has not yet responded to the bankruptcy petition in court.
