Adult and child found drowned in Raasepori

An adult and a child were found drowned in the Västerby outdoor area of Tammisaari, Raasepori, police reported Tuesday.

Emergency services were alerted Monday evening to two missing individuals in the area—one adult and one child of pre-school age. After extensive search efforts involving multiple authorities, both were recovered dead from the water.

Police have launched an investigation into the cause of death. Under Finnish law, such inquiries are confidential, and no further details will be released, authorities stated.
