Ceiling collapses at Varkaus service station restaurant

A section of the interior ceiling at the Warkauden Portti service station in Varkaus collapsed early Tuesday morning, Finnish broadcaster Yle reports.

The collapse occurred in the restaurant area, covering roughly 50 square metres. No one was present in the dining space at the time, and there were no reported injuries.

Authorities have not yet provided further details on the cause or extent of the damage. Updates are expected as the investigation continues.
