Oulu’s city council will decide Monday evening on a historic overhaul of the city’s service network, with proposals to close or restructure 15 schools, 12 daycare centers, and four libraries, *Yle* reports.

The cuts stem from the city’s worsening financial situation and a declining child population. A total of 19 service network decisions are on the table, most or all of which are expected to go to a vote.

The council’s session is ongoing, and updates will follow as decisions are made.
