Traffic lights at the R.C. Effersøesgøta–Bøkjarabrekka junction in Tórshavn are expected to resume operation today after days of malfunction, according to a technical manager with the city’s municipal government.

Fríður Dalsgarð, technical director for Tórshavn Municipality, told public broadcaster KVF that the lights may be repaired as early as Monday, though no exact time was given. Despite heavy traffic at the intersection, Dalsgarð noted that congestion had remained manageable during the outage.
