Arvi Lind, longtime Finnish broadcaster and news anchor, dies at 85

Longtime Finnish public broadcaster Yle’s journalist and news anchor Arvi Lind died Sunday morning, according to his family. He was 85.

His family told Yle there were no dramatic circumstances surrounding his death.

Lind worked as a reporter and television news anchor for nearly 40 years, with his final broadcast airing on October 15, 2003.
