Motorboat carrying multiple passengers runs aground on Lake Näsijärvi

A motorboat with several people aboard ran aground on Lake Näsijärvi in Tampere’s Teisko district on Sunday, emergency services reported. The incident occurred near Kämmenniemi, according to Yle.

The Pirkanmaa Rescue Department confirmed the vessel is not currently at risk of sinking. Authorities received the distress call shortly after 12:24 PM and are en route to the scene.
