Massive wind turbine foundations to move across Jutland by road

Starting Friday evening, oversized wind turbine foundations weighing a combined 3,000 tonnes will be transported by road from Give to Hvide Sande Harbour over a two-week period, Danish broadcaster DR reports.

The convoys will travel at walking speed, carrying what authorities describe as exceptionally large components for offshore wind installations. The route crosses western Jutland, with transports expected to continue through June 19.
