Danish reporter attempts steep climb in Jonas Vingegaard’s hometown

A reporter from Danish broadcaster DR has tested the grueling 270-meter climb in Glyngøre, the hometown of Tour de France champion Jonas Vingegaard, where locals claim the cyclist “flies” up the steep gradient.

The ascent, which reaches a maximum incline of 19 percent, is a well-known challenge in the area, according to DR’s report.
