Members of Norway’s royal family visited Marius Borg Høiby in Oslo Prison on Thursday evening, Dagbladet reports.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus were seen in a vehicle leaving the facility. It remains unconfirmed whether Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit accompanied them.

Earlier the same day, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, and Crown Prince Haakon were observed at Rikshospitalet in Oslo. The palace has not disclosed the reason for the hospital visit or the crown princess’s current health status.

Crown Prince Haakon cut short an official trip to Japan by one day, citing his wife’s health as the reason for his early return. Princess Ingrid Alexandra also returned to Norway from her studies in Australia following her mother’s worsening condition.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit has previously spoken openly about her struggle with pulmonary fibrosis, a progressive lung disease that impairs breathing and can be fatal without a transplant.
