Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has summoned party leaders and key parliamentary committee chairs to an urgent meeting next week to address concerns over committees’ access to intelligence, state broadcaster Yle reported Wednesday.

The talks will focus on ensuring parliamentary committees receive sufficient intelligence briefings, Orpo told national news agency STT. The issue gained traction after Johannes Koskinen, chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, criticised the government for withholding details about the source of May’s drone threat over Uusimaa.

Orpo’s office did not specify which committees or intelligence matters would be reviewed.
