Finland is chairing the two-day ministerial meeting of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) beginning Wednesday in Paris, state broadcaster Yle reports.
Prime Minister Petteri Orpo (National Coalition Party) will deliver the opening address and is scheduled to meet French President Emmanuel Macron during the visit. The meeting’s central theme, proposed by Finland, is industrial policy.
Finland’s delegation includes Finance Minister Riikka Purra (Finns Party), Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen (National Coalition Party), Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio (Finns Party), and Minister for Economic Affairs Sakari Puisto (Finns Party).
