Faroese waste incineration plant raises prices by three percent

The municipal waste incineration plant in Tórshavn has raised its prices, with the increase taking effect this year, Faroese public broadcaster KVF reports.

The adjustment marks a three percent rise in processing fees. Disposal costs for waste destined for landfill have climbed by half a percent.

The price hike follows a roughly five percent increase implemented by the Faroese Waste Management Company (IRF) earlier this year. Updated pricing details for the Tórshavn plant are available [on KVF’s website](link).
